Let me tell you... A Surprise Wedding of course!!!
To top it off, when the birthday theme has a colour scheme of 'White', you know that this is going to be an amazing night full of glamour. For anyone thinking of doing this, I highly recommend it!! With any Wedding you want to share your love with your closest family and friends. A surprise Wedding still gives you the opportunity to plan your wedding however adds that additional layer of excitement due to its surprise.
When I arrived, we had 30 minutes to get ready for the big announcement as no one aside from the Bride and Groom knew. The best part was that all the bridesmaids and groomsmen had ZERO idea. It was a surprise for them as well! There were tears, nerves and laughs all around.
There were serious friendship goals as I totally would have been stressing about getting the sizing correct for the bridesmaids and groomsmen, yet all the outfits fit like a glove on every single person. Talk about knowing your friends well!
Now came the big announcement. The Bride and Groom had started of the party with their family and friends to keep them non the wiser and then they took the opportunity to disappear whilst collecting their bridesmaids and groomsmen to initially reveal the surprise to them.
I have to say, the look on the all the faces when the announcement was made was just incredible! You could feel the shock and excitement all around. The Wedding was full of love and laughter and I am so thankful that I was chosen to capture such timeless moments.

Tips for Planning a Surprise Wedding
Have a support person
Planning any wedding can be hard enough. The biggest thing that I found when communicating with the bride was that she always had a person that she could help bounce ideas and delegate tasks. No one wants to be stressed for their big day, especially the bride. The less the bride and groom have to worry about, the more enjoyable and memorable the night can be.
Link Surprise to existing event
If you are already planning on having a birthday party or celebrating an engagement, why not use one of those events to host the surprise wedding?! You are going to the effort to hosting that event with your nearest and dearest anyways so why not save a few dollars in the process.
Create a theme
Having a theme for your surprise event allows for a cohesive background to any image. It gives that WOW factor and is visually appealing to all yours guests as well as a timeless reminder of your special day and night. Having a theme can also help you keep within a budget. Keeps you focused on what you actually need to purchase without buying anything unescessary.
